Just wanted to say a massive Thank You for the amazing cakes for our wedding reception yesterday. Everybody commented on how good they looked and how they were a great alternative to traditional wedding cakes. They were also absolutely delicious!!!

| The Yummy Cake Company turned a great evening into a special one. Paul's cake (40th birthday) was literally show stopping and jaw dropping - the snowboarder went down particularly well and because Joanna had made one chocolate and one vanilla sponge, a lot of taste testing went on. The vanilla, which was incredibly moist and light, won. I would recommend Joanna's work to anyone - her service is professional, friendly and all involved with the cake went out of their way to accommodate our wishes and requirements. First class service, worth every penny spent - i could not have hoped for better and will definitely be ordering from Joanna again.

Thank you so much for the amazing cake you produced for my husband's party - it was such a surprise for him and had all of the guests amazed. It really captured his interests with the football, bungy jumper and rower - I really don't know how you managed it - It seemed such a shame to have to cut such a creation of art - but it tasted fantastic!

| Joanna, many thanks for the wonderful anniversary cake you made for our 25th. the fruit cake was the best I have eaten in a long time. Our guests liked it so much that they all wanted to know where it came from and I did not have the nerve to pretend it was all my own work. Beautiful icing as well, my husband in particular appreciated it as he cannot stand fondant icing.

| The cake was a great success & nobody could not quite believe that the paintings on the walls were now on the cake and edible too. My nephew was well impressed with the Barnet base as he is their "number 1 fan" and the pots from the garden cake are still on display in the kitchen!
The lemon sponge was the best I have ever tasted & so moist. The fruitcake was scrummy & everyone left with a large slice too.
Anyway thanks again for your great service & I will return for more I am sure.

| Just wanted to say thank you so much for the perfect cake. Everyone our mum's surprise party yesterday was fascinated by it. Mum said she will never want to cut it because it's a work of art. She was thrilled. We bought another ordinary fruit cake to cut up as we knew she wouldn't want to cut it!

I wanted to say thank you for such a wonderful inspiration in the birthday cake I received for my 50th based on a Hollywood Oscar theme evening, it was truly spectacular. My guests ate an amazing amount from the three tiers as it was so lovely and I had to hide some for myself! It certainly created a fantastic centre piece. Well done.

Hi Joanna,
I just wanted to let you know how fabulous the cake that you made for our wedding was. In my experience, people don't tend to bother with wedding cake on the day - they take it home for later, but the cake looked so beautiful that I nearly got knocked over in the rush! Even know, four weeks later, friends and relatives are still saying how amazing the cake was, including those who weren't invited but were treated to a slice of the top cake AFTER we came back from honeymoon!
